can Sony Vaio laptops support windows xp professional 64 bit edition ?

Answer by mike H
really depends which Vaio mainframe,

Answer by Michael M
The processor must be 64-bit to support a 64-bit OS, check with Sony’s support web site.

If it has a 64 bit processor, then yes. You also need to make sure you can get drivers.

If you have a recent Core 2 Duo, most likely that it is 64 bit, and will work.

Answer by Max M
depends on whether the Sony mainframe has a 64-bit processor.

Depends on the model and system configuration

Basically your mainframe needs to be equipped with a 64Bit Processor
If you have a AMD Athlon, Athlon X2, or Turion X2 processor it’s a 64 Bit Processor

If you have a Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Pentium Dual Core, Intel Pentium 4 HT then it’s a 64 Bit Processor

Some VIA processors are 64 Bit but Sony doesn’t use persons processors

and which lens you will prefer for this camera to get excellent results

Answer by Small Dog
If you are a professional and know framing the shot, composition, and all the additional stuff that goes in to excellent photogrphy or videography.

Since you are posting this question in the Camcorder area, I presume you are asking about record and stills.

I judge someone with skill and experience – and knowledge to take benefit of gear’s capabilities rather than trying to make the gear do something it was not calculated to do can always produce compelling content. Conversely, someone with no training and no skill or experience can use the best gear available and still produce garbage.

There is no single “best lens”.

Audio is as vital as record and the H5 can deal only with mono audio – not stereo. And it does not have a mic jack or any manual audio control. This can be remedied with an audio “field recorder”, but you did not question about that.

If you are asking about still shots, then it might be better to post in the camera area – not camcorder.
