What is the best digital video camera with touch screen operation to buy for under $600?

I like the sound of the JVC GZ-MG335, but I don’t know much about digital record cameras. I want something with an external card (such as SD) that I can place honest into my pc and save, also touch screen operation and to be able to take still shots. Mostly I want it for family holidays and so I can record my babys milestones, so nothing too intricate. Any thoughts?

Me and my friend make youtube videos ALL the time, but we’re getting really tired of our like 5 year ancient Tape-Recording Handicam.

So we’re looking for a Digital record camera. Today I saw in a Jakartan store a MD-10000 Digital Cam for only 900$ .

But then I read they are terrible.

So it has to be under about 1200$ and It has to be digital, record excellent picture, and it needs Quick Frame Rate. (Well at least not slow).

What should i get?

You should get the Flip Camcorder. It’s about the size of a digital camera and it records up to 60 minutes with excellent picture quality I bought one and it was only about $ 150. It also has a small flip up usb on the side so you can just plug it right into the computer and upload it to youtube.
