what is the best virus protection that i can purchase from Frys or Bestbuy?

I want to hold a virus protection for my computer. what is the best one out there? i know there’s free virus protection online that i can download but i reckon you can get popups and things like that from it.

that is not right , there are fantastic free programs out there which are better than paid for antivirus programs, just because you pay for something doesnt mean it;s excellent. I use avast antivirus and it doesnt give me any distress at all , i also have comodo firewall pro which is also free

check to make sure your ISP doesnt already provide it. Comcast provides McAffee to its customers at no extra charge.

Personally for a “pay-for” solution, I prefer Kaspersky or Eset NOD-32.
