How durable is the Cyber-shot DSC-W80/B Digital Camera?

How durable is the Cyber-shot DSC-W80/B Digital Camera?

I have broken two cameras four times in the past four years by dropping them, but I am passionate about photography. Now that I have just broken my only camera again, which is my mom’s, I really need to get an incredible camera that still has some durability.
I really, really wanted to get the Powershot A630 Digital Camera (I’m absolutely swooning like a fangirl over it’s 10 megapixels), but I was disappointed to find out that it is severely hurt in one simple drop. And on top of that, it is horribly expensive to fix if your not under warranty, which is only a year.

This is my second choice, the Cyber-shot DSC-W80/B. Anyone who has it, is it durable? Would it be smashed in a small drop?
I’m a clumsy photgrapher who needs your help! =]

One of the first things photography students learn is to take care of their cameras .. most students have over $ 1,000 invested in their cameras before they start school.

The only rugged cameras available at this time are ones that are built for children who are expected do drop things from time to time, but are very low resolution.

There are a few waterproof and ruggedized cameras out there, but again, they do not have the features you want, like high pixel counts and “incredible” pictures.

You may find something that will help, but the way to keep a camera working is to take care of it.

What do you reckon? Answer below!

OMG!

Three questions-
Did it have an owners manual/handbook in that box?
Was it in a language you may maybe know?
Did you?

You took a picture of something red, and it came out red — imagine that.

I have sat here and sat here wasting time trying to make sense out of your question, but I now feel it is impossible.

A red social class that is still red after you take the “pic”?

So….. do you reckon the social class color is supposed to magically CHANGE after you take the photo?
