Looking for good digital camcorder with a mic jack?

I’m looking for a excellent digital camcorder that has a mic jack, but doesn’t cost a cold grand.

The List HV40 is a HD camcorder with an external mic input. It was $ 999, but now I see that the price has dropped down to an average of about $ 650. I can’t seem to find any additional makes available.

List ZR960, most of the List FS series, All of the List HF and HF S series – Be careful, though, The lower-end ones have a mic jack, but no manual audio gain control.

The Sony HDR-CX500 series – but likely outside your price range.

I have a very excellent digital camcorder and need to film a demo/meeting to be sent over the net live. The camera has SD Output : Built-in (via A/V Remote Terminal) ; Record / S Record / Audio / Component Out / Remote and HDMI.
