You can check which models have the smile shutter mode on the Sony website as it is camera specific and not series specific.
I believe all models of the T-Series have it (though personally I steer clear of that series).
Most if not all W-Series have it.
Only some of the S-Series have it.
It’s worth noting that the way the smile detection works can vary from model to model, the more expensive cameras tending to have more control over how it works. Sony’s implementation is not so quick/rigorous as that on some Samsung & Lumix compacts.

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W220 and want to adjust the gap, but my dread is that it’s not possible to do with this camera. Delight tell me I’m incorrect! Thank you!
Answer by KNDChicago
You are incorrect…………………for thinking you are incorrect. Your camera has no manual control options. You cant set your gap manually.
But why is this your dread? Im sure you thoroughly researched camera capabilities before you made your buy pronouncement. Right?
Answer by 1-Eyed EngiNERD
you can’t adjust gap and (shutter speed) with point and shoot cameras.
You’d have to get an SLR for that
