What is the best all around dishwasher for 2009?
Need to buy a new dishwasher. Consumer Reports says I have to subscribe to see their results. Screw that. Can anyone tell me which is the best buy all around?
Answer by pissy_old_lady
I don’t know the best dishwasher for 2009, but I am sure everyone has their favourites. I really like my dishwasher..Kitchenaid integrated..expensive and well worth it. It is silent, runs really well, stainless inside and out, do not have to rinse dishes ahead of time, large inside. I have found by experience that you get what you pay for when it comes to dishwashers. I have had cheap, mid range and expensive ones over time. It is well worth saving for a more expensive one, in my opinion.

When our 18 year ancient stove needed a 5 thermostat, it was time to go shopping. Grabbed the Dignified issue of "Consumer Reports" and had their "best buy" Hotpoint stove delivered a few hours later. We paid to have the ancient one hauled away – I hope the materials will be recycled.
People are telltale me HP and Dell? Not really sure and don’t know which one to buy but need to know soon! Would appreciate some opinions. Tried to look for my Consumer Reports but no luck!

My HP cost less then most dells there were, I say cheaper then most because its more powerful. Dell has cheaper laptops though. Wait for a holiday sale or after Christmas sale.

I reckon its better if you go for assembled one, because you will have the freedom of choosing the best componets.

Hold off on a new PC buy in anticipation of after New Being. The new Windows Vista comes out after christmas, and a new computer is an brilliant late present to yourself.
In the meantime, do plenty of research and choose exactly what you want your computer to do for you.

After reading a lot on here about the terrible service that people have gotten from Dell, I would doubtless go with an HP. For myself, I would build, if it were a desktop. Laptops are a different animal altogether. I have 2 Toshiba laptops. Even though they are low end, they have been pretty dependable and get a lot of use in my home network. I have a grown-up HP and it still runs well, I’m thinking of by it for a home security camera setup.
