Is there a fish eye lens for a nikon coolpix s210?

I have a Nikon Coolpix s210 and I am looking for a fish eye lens for it. I was looking on amazon and saw that they have a bunch for the other Coolpix models but I couldn’t find one specifically for the s210. Will any of them work?

Unless your camera has threads for a filter or a special axillary lens/filter holder, you cannot add anything to the lens, fisheye or other.

In the past when an entry level dSLR cost a minimum of $ 2,000, many P&S cameras were made which allowed adding different lenses made specifically for those camera models.

A sample of such a camera was the Nikon Coolpix 990. Four different lenses were available at that time

This is a shot used to show some of the potential problems to avoid when by a fisheye lens.

* foot in the shot
* unwanted perimeter stuff in the shot
* photographers shadow cast on the subject

At the time, the Nikon Coolpix 990 cost $ 1,000 and the additional lenses around $ 250 each.

When you equate those costs to the cost of a current dSLR, you can see that now’s cameras provide a lot more bang for the buck

Yes, there is a fisheye lens kit available for the Nikon Coolpix S210. This one connects to the tripod mount and covers the front of the camera with a 180 degree lens. This is a universal kit that suits other cameras too. We don’t see these very often now. See the UK link below…

I just got the Nikon Coolpix S210 and I was wondering everywhere you should insert it. There isn’t a slot for it anywhere..

The slot for the memory card is located just above the battery.
Its under the same door as everywhere the battery is.
