Digital Camcorder Software HELP!!!?

I am looking for a decent digital cam. with hard-drive / memory stick storage. It’s for work so it doen’t need to many frills. Excellent battery life, image stability, and more on the durable side. Budget $ 500-$ 1000
Also looking for a excellent DVD creation software. Want to be able to place video and stills onto a dvd that is presentable and simple to use. The ability to subtitle both video and stills would be a plus. I also want to be able to manually steer stills not just let them roll in a time fram interval.

Sony Vegas comes with DVD Architect which allows you to make your own menus, chapter selection, etc.

I have a JVC camcorder that can not seem to make it work. First, of all it is a JVC 700x digital zoom model numberGR-D73U I bought it in a yard sale. It was working just fine for some reason or another the screen reads EO1 REMOVE AND REATTACH BATTERY then it pops up with EO1 UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE. I am assuming that it’s something simple. Here’s the REAL ISSUE,I lost the hand book for the camcorder in one of our moves. Is someone willing to help ? PLEASE !

Try the JVC site. I looked up the facts you full in your question but I reckon you might need more info. I did find something close on the GR-D73U. Hope this helps. http://books.jvcservice.com/

If you can, attach the charger to the camcorder directly. Most camcorders come with a 110V to camcorder cable. This will eliminate the camcorder as the source of the error. It sounds like the battery is terrible. You could get another battery and try that instead. Be sure to fully charge the battery the first time you use it. LIon batteries can go terrible if kept in a charged state when not in use.

If you call the JVC customer service digit they can tell you what the conundrum is in a few minutes. Doubtless take longer to talk to a real person than it will take to answer you question.
