What are some of the best digital cameras around the 100-250 mark?

I am need of a new camera. My budget is from 100-250. What are some of the best digital cameras’ around this mark? I heard the fujifilm finepix f300exr is an excellent choice is this true? I really want a camera which really gives beautiful photos and maybe with HD recording. Any personal experience with a certain camera would be greatly appreciated! This was my first digital camera. Purchased in 1995. It boasts a whopping 640×480 resolution.

I live in Maryland, in the U.S. and I have a friend living in Luanda, Angola and we want to start an import/export business where I ship them digital cameras from the U.S. and they sell them there. How much will this cost and what is the best way to go about shipping the cameras?
