Is there a good chance i could get this for the asking price or even a bit over on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Panasonic-SDR-H200-30GB-HD-Digital-Camcoder_W0QQitemZ170279050247QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCamcorders_Professional_Video_Cameras?hash=item170279050247&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A2%7C240%3A1318

this usually goes for over $ 900 at fixed sites. and i found it for only $ 60!!! (used of course) Does it already have bids? i really don’t know anything about ebay.

Answer by Pupp
16 bids so far, as public bid, the price will go up.

You’ll find public “sniping” at the last small bidding on it.
so it’ll be more like $ 550-600 by the time it’s done.

Best way is reckon “What am I pleased to pay for this”
so if it’s $ 200, bid $ 201.00 If nobody’s bid that much, you’ll be the highest bidder.

If the person before thinks they’ll pay $ 75 for it, you wont go honest up to $ 200, just to $ 76.

Ebay bids in increments for you. So bid your highest you want to pay for it and place it.

If you win it for $ 200, fantastic, if not, you haven’t lost anything and still have money in your pocket. You’ll build up an thought of how much these things go for once you’ve been outbid a few times, but don’t make the mistake of paying over the odds.

Also take postage costs into account, you might save a few bucks on the sale price, but if postage is $ 40, you might be left without the bargain.

Pleased bidding!!

Click on the link that says History and you will see there are 16 additional bids. Yo may get it for that price but likely in the last 30 minutes more bids will come through.

Press release image of Slow Photography camera.

The purpose of the Slow Photography camera is to provide a natural stepping-stone between using a mobile phone as a camera before taking the plunge into professional grade digital photography.

The Slow Photography camera has been calculated as an every second route in modern photography and requires the photographer to consider traditional photographic principles such as framing, composition and lens choice. The Slow Photography camera establishes that a mobile phone does not simply have to be a rudimentary point-and-shoot grade camera and takes a literal stance on a mobile phone applications for photography such as ‘Hipstamatic’.

The thought for Slow Photography emerged from researching the ties between digital and analogue photography. I established that the processes involved in analogue photography are still relevant even with digital photography life so well loved among photographers both amateur and professional. Flickr is undoubtably the most well loved photograph sharing social network site among photographers and their statistics show that the Apple iPhone 4 is in the top 3 most used cameras (ahead of List’s EOS Rebel XSi, second only to Nikon’s D90). If public are life exposed to the joys of photography through mobile phones, Slow Photography can provide the creative freedom of an digital SLR with interchangeable lenses on their mobile phone.

To operate, slide the front face open and insert your mobile phone. Turn the lens to select which lens effect you want.
The Slow Photography camera has three lenses; fixed focal length, macro and fisheye. Carefully compose your shot by looking through the viewfinder and push the shutter release to capture your shot.

I have a question regarding my digital camera…

First off…i do NOT wish to use the digital camera as a webcam…just view the camera through the computer screen…

Let me clarify.
I’m trying to take some of my own senior pictures, but I want to see what my camera is seeing, just before the picture is taken…Is there some way I can connect my digital camera to my computer, so I can see what the camera (sees) before taking the photo? Sort of to see the photo in real-time with the camera timer counting down…

I’ve seen a behind-the-scenes record on youtube of a professional photoshoot and saw that they were viewing (through the camera) on an iMac screen before taking the shot…I realize they had professional gear, but is there some way to do this? Even if it is a hack?

nope

Maybe.

You must have a tethering program and a camera that is supported by it.

Lightroom 3.3 can tether certain Nikon and List dSLR’s

List and Nikon have programs that tether certain of their dSLR’s

These programs work on both Apple and PC computers
