Is the Olympus DS-2000 Digital Voice Recorder good for evp?

When shopping for a DR to do EVP recordings just find one in your budget that you can plug a usb cord into so you can use a free audio program to clean up the noise on your computer. I just checked it out on the web and it would be fantastic if you have the funds go ahead but you really don’t need one reasonably so fancy to get fantastic results. There are models in the 50 dollar price range that will work just as well.

considering you will be looking for things in white noise i don’t reckon it really matters what you use. EVPs while fascinating have very small value in real research. EVps really hit it huge during the 6th sense and White noise.

Go to Radio Lean-to and get a set of “audio dubbing wire”, which is basically one cable with “headphone” plug on both ends. Plug one into EARPHONE of your recorder, and the additional into MIC or LINE IN on your PC.
