I’m not a pro. But I’ve used both, and I would go with the DVX (the GL2 isn’t a terrible camera but I would def. choose the DVX) my roommate just bought a DVX100 and it rocks!

Both the List GL2 and the Panasonic DVX100B will meet your requirement – but the DVX100B is a WAY better camera… among additional features, it does 24p which the GL2 does not.

These were shot with three DVX100B camcorders…

Keep in mind that record is only a part of the equation. Audio, lighting, plotting, makeup, angles, framing, and a whole lot more goes into making a successful production.

This is just a combination of some of the footage I shoot around savannah, ga while testing out my new record camera, List GL2. I didn’t use any filters, lens, or corrections while control. Its all standard footage from the camera. (The test footage I shot looks much nicer on my computer compared to this compressed version here on youtube.)
Record Rating: 4 / 5
