Can I play video on a digital camera?
My Panasonic DMC-FX38 digital camera has a TV-out jack. Is there any way I can use it to play movie files?
It records videos in .MOV – MJPEG format. I tried to convert some record files to that format and place them on the Memory card but the camera doesn’t recognize any files.
Thanks for any help!

yes but you hav to do it onn the computer if you want sound

No…your camera is NOT like an ipod or additional multimedia device which allows you to view diffferent types of files.
So, you can only playback videos in the camera…that ONLY the camera itself has recorded. You can connect your camera directly to a TV by using the TV OUT connection.
Your Manual will show you what you are able to do…
