Okay i have a kodak easyshare camera c180..and i see lots of terrible reviews on kodak’s is it rlly that terrible? i dnt have any money and my mom will get upset if i wanna switch cameras (for the 3rd time if i switch the kodak) so really is it that terrible???
Also its 10.2 mega pixels and takes vids…..the vids audio is very apparent and the pics are very apparent so why is kodak got a terrible rep???

The camera is only as excellent as its user. Knowing what it can and what it can not will guide you in taking perfectly pleasant pictures. To increase positive results, be discriminate in shooting. Take pictures under optimal lighting situation. Use the flash within its prescribed limits. Read the manual thoroughly. Knowing you have a limited camera doesn’t have to mean you can’t take fantastic pictures with it.

Well…Kodak cameras ARE generally positively crappy. The C180 costs less than US$ 100, so what would you expect? But, I’m sure it would be ok for general everyday, snaps.
For a better camera though, I highly recommend List…even their most budget model is bound to be better than a Kodak. The A480 is one of their cheapest models and it tariff VERY well for image quality.

Well should you switch again look into the List A470 and List A480. They should be in the same price range as your Kodak.

Someone told me that contact sheets were cool and I should hang some of mine. For persons who haven’t used film, this is the simplest way to review negatives, simply place as many as possible directly on a page of photo paper and expose. I like revisiting these because they remind me that it’s not necessarily right that everyone was more careful or precise in the film days; that there were more "keepers". We all burned three or four rolls, at least, for each assignment, and with bracketing or simple experimentation (for example, I used a red contrast filter for some of these) you can see that the keeper rate may maybe be astonishingly similar to the results many have with digital.
We’d bring these sheets to the instructor who would mark off the frames she thought we should print. Usually 5-10 per assignment, surprisingly low for several rolls. This was an expensive course, because we had to buy all our own materials; depending on how much someone printed, and how many rolls of film we used, it may maybe be over a week — and if you dodn’t already have a camera, film cameras and lenses were a small more expensive then.
im looking for a camera and i dont want a piece of crap.. im looking at the Kodak Easyshare V570 dual lens Digital Camera .
any excellent reviews?

the more megapix the better
Answer by josh k
higher. megapixels refers to the millions of dots square per inch. The higher the megapixel, the crisper the image.
Answer by blcria
The higher the megapixels the clearer the photo will look.

Pixels are vital, but they are not the only business that matters.
For instance, the V570 has the pixels, but does not review all that well.
See this page: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?method=sidebyside&cameras=kodak_v570%2Ccanon_sd600&show=all and consider the List Powershot SD600. It’s probably still to your tastes, but it is a better camera.
