I just had my third interview today at Best Buy, how likely am I to get hired?

Ok so I had a GROUP interview today at Best Buy, and call backs for orientation are at 4-5. I did everything as questioned, I brought a voided check for employment and my resume, I dressed up nice and made strong eye contact and shook his hand at the end. But, during the group interview I was the first one allowed to place. He said I had a very excellent interview and he talked to me the most (I was SUPER articulate…but sounded so much like a text book and he agreed…) Is it like abolition? First to place doesn’t get hired? He also mentioned how I had no experience and I was very young (16)…I am so worried but hope I get the job! What do you reckon?

I hope you “questioned” for the job.

you got the job lol

its not an abolition because it was your third interview he probably seen enough keenness from you to show up to all three

the age might be a conundrum but not the experience best buy likes to break public in.

you sound like you did everything incredible and from this i am 95% sure you got the job , hes just pulling your leg

excellent luck! i really hope you get the job !

What do you reckon? Answer below!

Now first off I do not do drugs. Now Ive done my interviews and was offered the job. The GM told me I have to do a pre-employment drug screening, which I have already done. Its been a week already and Im wondering how long does it usually take for them to call me back for orientation?

I got a job a couple of months ago and i was pretty much offered the job on the spot, but it still took them nearly two weeks to call me back to start training for the position. They’ll end up calling ultimately, it probably took them a while to get the tests back, and they have to map out a time that would work for your orientation. it’s all excellent, i’d say two to two and a half weeks TOPS.

New research from the University of Minnesota finds that a workplace environment that allows employees to exchange when and where they work, based on their individual needs and job responsibilities, positively affects the work-family interface and reduces turnover. Kelly and Moen base their findings on data from surveys of more than 600 employees and company records from Minnesota-based Best Buy before and after the implementation of a so-called “Results Only Work Environment” (ROWE) workplace initiative. Best Buy introduced the ROWE initiative at its Richfield, Minn., headquarters in 2005.
