Best Buy Credit Card--0%interest for 6 months?
The lady at Best Buy told me if I get a best buy card, there will be 0% interest for 6 months. Is that right if I use a Mastercard and hold something at best buy with that card as well or do I REALLY have to get that card for that deal?
Answer by adnamA
you have to get the card. watch out, the interest rate jumps to like 20% after the 6 months…not worth it!!

As long as you pay it off before 6 months you will be ok…If you dont pay it off before 6 months or you fail to make a payment, you will get hammered by the interest…it’s your call

YOu have to use the best buy card for that deal. When you are checking out they may tell you about additional deals that are available. Sometimes they will offer 18 months with 0% interest.

This is a Best Buy credit card not a MC or Visa. You can only use it at Best Buy.
The 0% interest for 6 months earnings if you pay the minimum payment on time each month, you won’t have any interest payments. So if you paid it off before 6 months, you’d owe no interest.
But, if you’re even one day late with the last payment, you’ll be charged interest on the initial amount you charged at the beginning. In additional words, it’s like the 0% never happened in the first place. Persons unpaid interest charges will also be added to your whole balance. The interest tariff are generally reasonably high.
So, if you plot to use a Best Buy card for a hold with the 0% feature, be absolutely SURE you pay on time each month and can have it paid off in 6 months.
Use it with care.

I just turned 18 and I want to build up a excellent credit score and I need to know that I wouldn’t be going overboard if I went through with this.
Answer by webjnke1
I’d say about $ 20 …
Best way to do that though, is make the payment a few months, then pay it off. That’s what I always do, and I have an brilliant credit rating now.

You’ve got a choice.
Any $ 200 or $ 0.
Don’t shop until you’ve got the cash to pay the bill in full when it arrives.
