My failed attempt to clean Canon Ixus 70 digital camera from dust and sand.

My camera just broke and I want a new one, but I’m not sure which one to get. I had a Canon before and would like to stick with that brand. I would like a camera that is fast and takes good quality pictures. Any suggestions?

Canon Powershot SX110is ( 9.0 megapixels + 10x optical zoom)
Canon Powershot SX200 ( 12.1 megapixels+12x optical zoom)

Both are fast and takes very good quality pics.
