What is best to buy, the Creative ZEN X-FI 8gb or the Ipod Nano Chromatic 8gb?
I am really struggling with choosing between these.
I have spoken to my parents and they have said that it is better to get a Creative because Ipod just use itunes and its a pain etc. And something about illegal music? That you cant place anything else on your Ipod but the things you buy from Itunes. I’ve read loads of reviews, but i’m a girl and not really later through on these so far. Please help me. Thanks x

Ok…Yes your parents are half assess…You do have to use itunes to really place the music & videos etc on your ipod but you can get them from additional sources its just a bit involved to convert the format etc and get it into itunes so it will work with your ipod. I get my teenage son to do it for me as I cant map it out. You can transfer music and dvd’s from discs directly to ipods though so thats pretty simple.
The Zen is much simpler to load up and works easily with lots of files of music or record etc that you want to load up. If you are looking forward to watching alot of record and pics on your player then I highly recomend you go for the Zen as the screen is twice as huge as the ipods. The unit itself is very slick and simple to use. My hubby has a Zen and I have the ipod.
Lastly…if you want more for your money go for the Zen as they are cheaper or you can get a larger one for what you would pay for the ipod.

I agree with the above poster. In that size range the Zen is a way better deal. Zen has a radio, the screen is .5 inches larger, it has a built in speaker, It lets you record voice memos, and you can expand the GB by buying SD cards up to 16GB. I
You can compare the two here

The Nano are pretty simple to use but zen is probably just as simple. The only down sides I see of the zen is that it is not as colorful as the nanos and that you can’t directly transfer songs from iTunes to it. You can but you have to remove the copy protection by doing this http://itunesm4ptomp3.wordpress.com/2008/09/16/convert-itunes8-music-to-mp3/ The way I do it is burn the itunes songs to CD then transfer them back to the computer.

QUICK REVIEWS:
• M.A.C volcanic ash exfoliator: works just fine on my not-too-sensitive face, but it’s essential to use a moisturizer right after, cause it makes my skin super-dry immediately.
• M.A.C pro lash mascara: all i need is to paint my oversized lashes black, so my review would be pretty irrelevant.
• LancĂ´me lipshine: best buy so far! i’m so in like with it. the color of a lipstick with the shine of a lipgloss.
• M.A.C studio fix: perfect everyday wear in 1 small. like it, no matter how much i despise the package. M.A.C should hire someone to redesign it and make it less bulky.
• M.A.C select moisturecover: i’m not entirely pleased with it, it should be one shade lighter. but, next time i’m gonna choose more carefully.
I am looking to buy a record baby monitor through walmart. I am looking at the Graco iMonitor Baby Record Monitor, the Summer Infant 900 MHz 2.5″ Color Handheld Record Monitor, and the MobiCam Ultra Wireless Color Record Monitor System. I have read reviews on all of them and have compared all of the features but still do not know which one would be best. Can anyone give me any input please? Thanks!!!!!!

Hi! Well since no one else answered your question I just thought to give some input from my experience. Perhaps you haven’t yet had your baby? I was the very same way. I went out and plotted every last product to place into my nursery: $ 200 bassinette, expensive travel system, breast pump set, sounds n lights baby monitor (fisher-price) etc. He won’t sleep in the bassinette, the travel system is nice but the stroller that went with it is so huge and bulky and so inconvenient and heavy to unload that I never us it. I used the breast pump only a few times because my milk didn’t come in properly. The monitor is rarely used because I carry the baby with me everywhere in the house (in his carrier) but sometimes when I have the right batteries for it, I use it when I am outside visiting neighbors. I guess my point in saying all of this is that I reckon you should wait until the baby comes and you know for sure what will work for you and also you won’t waste a lot of time and money on stuff that you regret and never use.

A record review of the Dell Streak Android tablet. The Streak is available on AT&T i the US and it’s both a 5″ tablet and a cell phone with 3G. The Streak runs a modified version of Android 1.6 and 2.2 Froyo should be available later this year. It has a capacitive multi-touch show with Gorilla Glass, a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, GPS, compass, WiFi and a microSD card slot. Build quality and looks are top notch, and the Streak is worth a look if you need a pocket computer first and a voice phone second.
