what is the best digital camera in canon?

I’m not a professional or expert photographer so I have no thought about the ISO, or noise business. Whenever I read reviews regarding list g10, that’s the usual words i can see. Is List G10 brilliant? I really want to buy a slr but I cant afford it.

Best in what way? Best price? Best quality? Most features? Least repairs? What exactly do you mean by “best”?

The price of a List Xs (dSLR) is not too different from a List G10.

IMO the List SX10IS is a better camera, and it costs less than the G10.

But getting a entry-level dSLR like the Xs is way better.

I recommend List Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera.
If you do a search on reviews of this camera you will find a lot of first time DSLR buyers deciding to get this camera. I am one of them. After years of Point and Shoot camera use thinking the convenience of carrying them and using them was worth it, I came to the realization that I wasn’t pleased with most of the pictures I took. They preserved the moment but nearly none of them were worth blowing up or printing. Mediocre flash, zoom, megapixels, etc limited me and the pictures.

I like all the features of this camera for the price, especially the dedicated ISO button on top and the menu system is very simple to map out, and the 3 inch LCD screen. There is also the switch to SD memory cards which are apparently simpler to use than CF. It is so simple to take the card out, place it in an SD USB card reader, load the pictures and restore the card to the camera, rather than have to fiddle around with opening the small door on the camera and connecting a cable from it to the PC.

If you are contemplating buying your first DSLR you must remember that the camera is just the start. You will need to invest in a quality external flash to improve your flash pictures. And there is the innumerable zoom lens, that now utilize Image or Optical Stabilization, a technology worth the extra cost. I was pleased to do all this and I am absolutely satisfied with this camera and the List lens and flash as well. I now am very pleased with carrying a larger but absolutely superior camera.

i was thinking of getting that camera but i’d like a review.
and if it has an option to turn flash off how excellent does it (picture with no flash) come out? and how does the flash come out?
oh yeahh and does it take excellent pictures with excellent angles and stuff like that

IXUS is a branding List use, not a model. There are reasonably a few IXUS models – but to give you a general run-down…

- Daylight pictures have high colour saturation (bright, vibrant colours)
- Flash is more flattering to skin tone than most compact digital cameras.
- Photography without flash will depend on lighting situation. As a camera needs light to make an image, this needs to be considered when taking photographs without flash.
