What digital camera/camcorder is the best for shooting ULTRASHARP footage as in this video?

Hi!

I’m really confused at the moment. I wanted to buy a camcorder to film movies and place them on Youtube.

I had an eye on the Sony handycam HDR XR550, but When I look on Youtube, All the gorgeous movies are shot with DIGITAL CAMERAS! not camcorders. How come ?

You will see it is shot with a digital camera. which is meant for taking photographs? or am I mistaking?

What is the difference between all this? And is it possible to shoot such footage as well with HD camcorders?

handicams are shot with personal modes and methods , particularly made to be simple , no adjusting light and iso , no switching lens , and tints , simple..

these camera’s cost more for the barebones than the handicam , and a lens again will get you another camera , then a tripod to make it look nice , your depth of field , and iso handling .

the list mark 2 is around $ 4500 , plus lens etc

they are better simply cos they cost a lot more

I particularly questioned my mom to NOT get this camera!! I got it for Christmas, it was the worst Christmas gift I’ve ever received besides that eerie dollhouse my dad got me because he really thinks I’m a girl for some reason.

Now you may reckon that it sounds excellent, but guess what?

You can’t take a picture at all without it life too bright or too dark to see. Record capture has an exceptionally low amount of fps, I’d say about 5. If you just drop it, at least one part of it breaks off. So, yeah, with my nephew messing around with it, he flinged it at the wall, and the screen has a gigantic crack. The paint is chipping, there’s dents in it, and it has excessive water hurt. The flash doesn’t even work! So I couldn’t even film the northern lights when they came down here in August!! Battery life is about 30 minutes, and the battery that comes with the camera doesn’t even hold a single charge! That “charger” they supply with the camera breaks exceptionally simple, even if you just drop a notebook on it. And if you’re lucky enough for the fps to get to, I’d say, 10, it may maybe look like Sony Handycam quality, except excessively blurred out. The zoom they tell you about, it doesn’t work. Plus, when my baby niece was going around with it, she dropped it in the toilet, so yeah, water hurt there again. Now, I’m willing to pay for it, if my grandparents choose to give me at least $ 20 for my birthday and Christmas since I just got arrested over a week ago. Then again, I should be lucky that they bought me that gameboy I wanted… nearly 10 years ago. I’m also willing to sell that, also. Since I used a crap load of coupons that I found on the schoolyard, it was originally $ 75. I’m going to see if my mom has the receipt and has a warranty for my camera. That Vivitar DVR810HD HD Digital Record Camcorder doesn’t look like a excellent one, since it needs AAA batteries, which we can obviously not afford when it has 15 minutes of battery life. So what excellent cameras to WalMart sell for at least less than $ 100? What strategies should I use to get for myself a new camera? My dad has a FUJIFILM camera and a Sony camera, the FUJIFILM costed $ 400 which he got days gone by. What’s pun is that I questioned him for a camera the day before days gone by, he said he couldn’t afford it. And considering that there’s at least 2 years left of my mom owing the court money, I don’t really reckon I’m gonna wait 2 years. A cell phone’s out of the question because they aren’t free. iPod Nano 5th generation has a camera but it’s $ 133. I saw an HD camera for $ 119, but of course, my crappy parents wouldn’t get me it unless my camera broke. But I doubt if my camera broke they would get me another one.

So I’ve had my eyes on a Sony Handycam since March, because my 19 year ancient half brother got one for a senior school project, but he had to restore it because his dumb friend broke it.

He said he’d pay for it if his friend gave him the money, but he used it to get himself a PSP to mess around with TVs in walmart.
Uhm, excuse me? I NEED ONE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS. RIGHT NOW I HAVE AN F BECAUSE THE SCHOOL IS BANKRUPT AND CAN’T PROVIDE ENOUGH CAMERAS.

You don’t NEED a new camera; You WANT a new camera. Get off your butt and get a job. Then you can pay for your own toys. Beggars can’t be choosers.

Instead of banging on about your parents life so hard on you when they’re clearly not if they’re buying you things, why don’t you get off your own rear and earn the money for this camera that you want all by yourself?

Also, you don’t NEED a new camera, you WANT one. Have you got a camera phone? If so, use that if your parent’s gift is so dreadful. I hope your parents see this and learn how ungrateful you are. Grow up.

The point still stands. Get it for yourself you ungrateful brat. I don’t judge for one second that a school can afford to place public through this class and expect them to buy their own gear.
