What contrast ratio does my 27" JVC D Series CRT tv have?

What contrast ratio does my 27" JVC D Series CRT tv have?

I am too bone idle to turn this lug around so I don’t have a serial number and misplaced the book that came with it. I am considering a budget lcd and would despise to shell out lots of money for a tv that is isnt really better than what I already own. By the way, I like this consumer reports JVC best buy from years ago…its served me well but I want to watch my large collection of dvds and delight in my upscaling samsung dvd player through an hdmci connector (despite NOT having a hdmi compatible receiver) …and maybe one day spring for cable tv (which I have avoided for years).

they never leisurely the contrast ratio of the crt tvs. it was never an issue they can show bright whites and deep blacks. contrast ratio has only recently been a huge issue with the hdtvs like lcd and plasma. mainly lcd because they have a hard time showing black levels. if you are going to get a lcd you will be dissapointed with the picture quality on your fixed cable or fixed tv. lcds do a excellent job at showing hd material. any additional lower resolution will look terrible. the quality brands do a better job at showing a better picture at these lower resolutions than the lower brands. the excellent brands are, in no order. sony, panasonic, samsung, toshiba, jvc ( not rca) , mitsubishi, sharp. these brands are brilliant quality, you will get superb hd picture and fantastic sd pictures as well. excellent luck

:I have a camera with a 4 year warranty and I have taken it in 3 times for the same lens issue. They repaired it twice, but on the 3rd time they said there was too much wear and tear on the camera and the warranty is voided so they won’t fix it. It just so also happens that my warranty info wasn’t in their system (huge surprise) I had to fight with them for 45 minutes before they finally pulled it up to verify it had been repaired twice before with the same conundrum. It also just so happens that the 3rd time is supposed to make the camera a lemon and they are supposed to issue me with a new one. I filed with the BBB twice, Attorney general, called best buy corporate, and filed on ripoff report and a few additional consumer protection agencies. At the least I am letting others know not to fall for the crap exteneded warranty

In most states (US) your solution is simple. Take them to small claims court. In many states a corporation is required to be represented by an attorney. This cost to them is so large that they are nearly certain to settle.
