Samsung MiniDV digital Camcorder to connect to my PC. HELP!?

I can’t get my Samsung MiniDV digital Camcorder to connect to my PC so I can copy the tape to place it on a DVD. I even bought a ‘High Speed USB Record Grabber’ to do it. I cant get that to work any. I am getting really mad at it. Some one help me please if you can.

You’ll need a Firewire cable and Firewire card, and the software below:

The cheapest and simplest way is to download Windows Movie Maker from Microsoft’s Website. It is a free program for Windows users that includes basic record control and exporting.

You can also capture your record from your camera using another free download from Microsoft: Windows Media Encoder, which makes a WMV file from your videos, but it is a bit more hard to use if you are new to computer record
