cant make the vertical grip for nikon d60 work?

I bought the Targus vertical battery grip for my Nikon D60 and I do not know how to exchange the settings on my D60 to activate the grip. Someone help!

activate the grip? you mean to use the vertical shutter? you just need to push a button on the grip to expose the IR and communicate with the D60s IR sensor. There is no option in the D60 menu for any grip. Just set your D60 to “remote control’ mode under shutter release options.
