Can I make a stop motion video with my JVC camera?

I want to make a stop motion record with my JVC GZ-MS120AAA Camcorder but i don’t know how to do this. DO NOT tell me to take the pictures from the SD card and import them into a program, I want to take the pictures THROUGH my computer. I tried using MonkeyJam and Stop Motion Animator but they both couldn’t detect my camera. Please help!!!

You cannot steam live record with the JVC Everio GZ-MS120 (via USB). Programs like MonkeyJam require a IEEE-1394 (FireWire) interface to work.

If you bought it used you didn’t get a fantastic deal. I looked quickly on Ebay and 159.99 is the standard Buy it Now price. For new it is a excellent deal.
