Best digital camera around $150?
I am looking for a new digital camera that takes amazing pictures without a huge cost. I want it to take especially great close-ups and landscapes. I am looking for at least 12 megapixels, any more would be great. I would like for it to have its own memory card and rechargeable battery & charger. One that has at least 512 MB memory and decent battery life would be ideal. (I am willing to purchase a memory card if necessary.) $ 150 is just a starting point, but please try to make it no more than $ 170. The most important feature is for the camera to take great, detailed, colorful pictures. I am not that much into all those hundreds of little features, such as face detection, smile detection, blink warning, etc., although those certainly would not stop me from buying a great camera, they are just not required. Please provide a brief overall rating of each camera you suggest (pros & cons). Thank you very much. This helps A LOT.

A lot of options for you at that price range, which is good right? so here are a few I found and it seems that most digital cams have a lot of standard features these days, which is good as well.
1. Canon Powershot (max image resolution 4000 x 3000)
2. Sony Cybershot (15MB built-in memory)
3. Fuji Finepix (great lense but a little pricey)
So this covers a wide scale of prices and features for you to choose from based on budget and options

Caught this over the weekend, the demolition crew is moving at a rapid pace to clear the whole area. What an imposing fence

The camera matters a lot less than the lenses.
For birds you should have at least 400mm available to you.
For landscapes you’ll want anywhere from 16-50mm.
For ‘miscellaneous shots’ I’d also add in a 70-300 and a 28-70 or 28-90mm lens.
As for filters, a circular polarizer and neutral densite as well as a graduated neutral density filter are pretty key. You also MUST have a tripod. Without a tripod, the rest of the stuff just does not matter.
All of this stuff really depends on what you want to shoot [i personally have everything that I list and more in my bags].

Motorola Droid X2 (Verizon Wireless)
The lack of 4G will be a turnoff for some, but the Motorola Droid X2′s fast performance and good battery life make it one of Verizon’s most solid Android phones.
