What digital cameras are under $100 but have great quality?

What digital cameras are under $100 but have great quality?

I bought a really expensive digital camera last Christmas and it broke right after the warrenty was up. I gave up on spending a lot of money on digital cameras. I need to know everywhere I could find a cheap but durable camera under $ 100. Delight help if you have a fantastic digital camera that was reasonably priced.

I bought a Samsung at WalMart for a trip to Florida and paid $ 118.00 for it. It has excellent functions and is battery powered so I didn’t have to worry about recharging it, just carrying extra double A batteries around. It turns out excellent pics and I like it plus, after 3 being, it is still going strong. Perhaps something like that at WalMart will suit your purposes better. Hope this helps!!!

and the image quality, is superb, This camera is a fantastic point an shoot camera, but it also has loads of additional functions, within the cameras manual mode, that makes it a cut above the rest in it’s class.

Some of this camera’s many features include, face recollection, red eye fix , image stabiliser, movie mode, it can even be used under water, ( with the aid of separate casing) to many to mention here. but really a top small camera, for the money

Vivitar Vivicam 8027 – Digital Camera – Retro
digital cameras

Any digital camera that looks retro gets my attention. Unfortunately, it’s baaaad.

I’m trying to figure out how widespread digital cameras are. I know my mom doesn’t use one.

Five being ago, it was predicted that 80% of US households would use digital cameras by 2008. And film cameras would be dead.

Did that happen? Anyone know what %age of USians use digital cameras?

Answer by Dorothy
Don’t know what the actual percentages are, but I’d say that they were pretty much right. Just reckon about all the different digital cameras there are out there: web cams, camera phones, camcorders, regular digital cameras, etc.

Film isn’t dead yet, but I do agree with most people who say that it will be.

Quoting from above…”Film isn’t dead yet, but I do agree with most people who say that it will be”.

The only people who reckon film is dead or will be are those who have never used it, for lack of a better term, in a serious style. I am talking medium and large format film with the finest film cameras such as Hasselblad, Mamiya, Leica, etc.

People who have only been amateurs with 35mm film have jumped onto the digital bandwagon… and to be honest, the best DSLRs are at least as competent, if not more-so than 35mm film. But when you get into the larger formats it becomes a different game. There ARE medium format digital backs in the 30 MP range that can rival any film… but… these backs cost $ 30,000.

For the quality, cameras, and artistic expression of medium and large format film, digital will not take it’s house any time in the near or distant future.

You have to remember that the a fantastic percentage of digital cameras sold are point and shoots, used by amateurs for snapshots. Nothing incorrect with that, but that is hardly going to signal the death knell for film.

I don’t know for sure but the 80% figure is doubtless close.

Though, I do know that film is NOT dead and won’t be for quite some time. All of my film cameras are doing well.

Answer by mwdesigncreate
To be honest, I don’t know anyone with a film camera anymore exept for the die hard ancient school photographers.
It’s really hard to even find film anymore unless you go to a camera store.
