HD Video Camera Help?

Hey I need help choosing one of these HD cameras. I want a camera that shoots in 16:9, H.264 – 1280 x 720 – 30 fps out of this list, most of them shoot in that and claim to shoot 720p but do they reallly? Prefereably I want it to have a clear image aswell like Chad Vader season 3 on youtube

Canon Power shot (Link) 14.1megapixels shoots in H.264 1280×720 but is that HD?

Claims to have HD MP4 movie

I’m 13 and I’m a serious film maker, I’m always entering festivals, I reckon I’ve done 7 now and won 3, including 2 which were the 48 hour Film Festival. But at the same time, I’m working with an ancient ’93 Sony, digital, but still not the best quality. I’m looking for a GOOD HD camera for a cheap price and excellent signal pick up, or attachable boom. I’m always looking on ebay and in the last couple days of each auction the price goes way to up $ 800. Anyone got any tips?

Listen, you’re not going to find a cheap excellent hd camcorder for serious film makers. If your so serious, your going to need to drop the cash and buy a excellent one. Cheap ones available like the Flip HD, Aiptek, Flip Mino, or Kodak Zi8 are very minimal as far as features go, and offer video quality only decent enough for non serious film makers. While the are very excellent options for videographers who are beginning, or those who just want to make a youtube channel.Sorry, but I never heard of a “serious film maker” who desires a cheap hd camcorder, because that just isn’t a excellent contest. Drop the cash dude
