It will work. Use common sense next time.

Answer by jason
Yes it will work. The more ram & drive space the better it will perform.

Answer by O’Sullivan
Yes, it works with XP Pro.

In order to make and keep lots of vids, you’ll need 250+ gigabytes of HD space, and minimum of 1 and preferably 2 or more gigabytes of RAM. You’ll also find a quick dual or quad core processor will help.

yes it does, just make sure you have the latest service pack installed (SP3) and you should be fine.

UNDERSTANDING!
professional sony

Will I ever know it all? I’ve been taking ‘photographs’ for 10 being… I thought it was time to get to know the camera a small better. The course is finished… now on with the practice!!

I’ve relied on the safety of the "Auto" setting for most shots, basically bypassing the art of photography and each now and then hitting on a ‘excellent’ shot.. I’m slowing moving off the auto setting, I want to achieve effects that I thought were only possible to do with an enhancing program, or those only professional photographers can take…
Is that asking too much???… we’ll see!

The Sony PSX3 has the ability to search for media servers, I want to know how do I get a media ma?tre d'h?tel for windows xp?

Answer by Taba
Media servers are programs that allow you to share your music and video over a network. Itunes and the new Windows Media Player have these options.

You need to be running the ma?tre d'h?tel on a compter on your network then when you goto your PSX3 you will see the optionto connect to it..

.It was simple for me to set-up. There are many ways and different programs you can use, but, heres what I did:

1. Make sure PS3 is connected to your network
2. Bed in Windows Media Player 11 on your computer that is attached to the same network
3. In WMP11 go to Tools>Options
4. In the options dialog box click the library tab, then click Configure Sharing
5. You should see all the computers on your network AND an “unknown device” (which is your PS3)
6. Right click on “unknown device” and select Allow

Now if you go back to your PS3 you should see a Windows-looking icon at the top of Pictures, Music and Video sections. Use that icon to access your content library. (This assumes that you set up WMP11 so all your media is in its library) I can access any video, music or picture (as long as the PS3 can read the format) from my computer on the other end of the house, I like it!

**NOTE: I’m not sure if the PS3 requires a restart for this to work.

And another thing I found out was each time you reset your computer you need to re-allow sharing. I always leave mine on so its no biggie, but it could get annoying if you turn it on and off.
