Why doesn't the Canon e-store sell cameras?

The Canon e-store sells every consumer item available from Canon except the renown digital cameras. Why is this? You can buy camera accessories, but not a camera itself. I can buy a camera on Amazon if I want to buy one online, but you’d think that if Canon is going to make their own website to sell their products, they’d sell cameras too.

Canon USA has an interesting relationship with their camera dealers, and they do NOT want to jeopardize that relationship. The origin of Canon is the camera division. Each authorized dealer has a contract with Canon USA, and by selling still cameras on Canon’s own site is, at this moment in time, frowned upon by all the interested parties. Of course, this is but one man’s opinion. :—) I have no clue as to why they sell the other Canon products through their own eStore, and the prices are not discounted like their dealers.

This was my camera case in 2007 that holds my cameras, lenses and other supporting accessories. There is a lot in this case and it’s pretty darn heavy… The case is a Pelican 1614 which thankfully has wheels on it.

I am looking for a skin for a ‘Canon Ixus 120′ but I can’t seem to find ANY!

……the only info I could find was on this website:-

but it doesn’t say where to buy them.

I am going backpacking and want something to protect it. Any other suggestions are welcome!!

I know when I was looking for a cannon camera skin I found one on Amazon. I don’t know if it will be fitting for your camera, but you can check it on Amazon.
