Taking digital pics below water (Canon A530)?

Taking digital pics below water (Canon A530)?

I have a List digital Powershot A530. It is not waterproof, nor can I add any extra lens, or such accessories. I take a lot of nature pics, and I am still getting used to everything you can do with this camera (it’s a bit confusing). With the Powershot A540, you can get attachments for specific needs, NOT available with mine. Is there any tricks for taking a picture of fish or anything below the water without having the glare? Can I rig something to reduce the glare? If you have any additional tricks for taking any awkward pics, please feel free to place them as well. Thanks.

If I know you correctly you want to take images THROUGH a water surface. Light reflected off water is polarized light, so if you get a polarizing filter you should be able to get rid of the glare. You will have to rotate your polarizing filter and check through the viewfinder in order to get results. It will also cut out glare from photos through windows.

The first link is for the physics, the others deal with polarizers and photography.

If you want to take images under water with your camera submerged, they used to sell waterproof camera bags, which allowed you to seal the camera against water, but still able to press buttons through the plastic. But that’s an entirely different tale…

I need a better digital camera, since mine has a really small screen and runs like its from the stone age. Im basically just going to use it to take pictures with friends at parties, the beach, and especially concerts!! I also, like to take a few photography shots from time to time. I have always owned a List, but what additional cameras would you recommend that have:
-8 mega pixel or higher.
-Whole zoom capacity of 7x.
-Records 3-4 minutes (for recording songs at concerts).
-Under 200$ .
-If at all possible waterproof but not a neccesity.
I just need some recommendations on what cameras you have known to be really excellent.

Also, does anyone have the Fuji Finepix Z33WP? It can go underwater for 2 hours, and I was just wondering if its any excellent?
also, i like to take photography pictures. any ones under 200$ excellent for speed photography or taking pictures of the sky?
