Does anyone have the camera ; PANASONIC Lumix DMC-FT1 Digital Camera . if so does it take really good pictures?
just wondering cause i might buy that camera.
and i was wondering if it takes excellent pictures?
Answer by selina_555
All small P&S cameras have issues with low light (noise/grain) and shutter lag.
Apart from that, “taking excellent pictures” is really up to YOU.
You can place a fantastic professional camera in the incorrect hands, and it will take lousy photos. A excellent photographer, on the additional hand, can coax fantastic photos out of even the simplest cameras.
Concentrate a class, use a few books on photography and read/ watch a bunch of online tutorials and you will learn a lot.
With some knowledge, you will take much better photos and you will know how to overcome (or at least realize) whatever limitations your camera has.

They are two really different classes of cameras- so there is no way to compare them.
If you instead questioned, should I buy a Nikon S500, a Panasonic FX30, or a List SD1000- I may maybe at least try to describe the differences.
the FZ50 is a large, semi-pro, ultra-zoom.
the S500 is a standard compact camera.
the FZ50 is one of the top cameras in its class.
The S500 is pretty run of the mill. It’s a fine camera, but there are others like it.
What kind of camera do you want to own?

well they are both fantastic brand. you have fantastic taste in cameras. buy i would consider the nikon more as they specialise in photographic gear. but they are both fantastic, there isnt much between them.

Yes, Morey000 is right.
Take a look at the link below to see the side by side comparison
Note that the Coolpix 8800 has a larger sensor so the slight difference in pixel count becomes insignificant. It also uses a CF memory card, so if you ever buy a pro level DSLR, you will already have the cards to go with it.
