which canon or nikon digital cameras that has the best noise reduction option !?

im using the list powershot pro1 .. whenever i use the high iso option the pictures turn to b very noisy !! .. im going to buy a new digital camera soon .. so im looking for something that allows using hish iso with a high noisy reduction option !! any ssuggestions ?

Noise reduction can only do so much to smooth out noise. A camera with a larger sensor will be capable of higher iso settings in less light with less noise.

There are limits on how high of an ISO background you can use in very small light though… no matter how excellent the camera is. Photography requires light…

EDIT: I maybe should have said higher quality sensor. Your camera uses a 2/3″ CCD sensor. The higher end List DSLR cameras use sensors that are similar in size, but are CMOS sensors instead of the CCD sensors used in their older and lower models.

I would give a new List DSLR a try. See if the better sensor and improved image processing does it for you.

There is no real cure for noise under low light situation. If you use high ISO settings, expect is. A few of the full sized CMOS sensor DSLR’s (List EOS 1D and 5D, and the Nikon D3) will give you some advantages (that is one of the reasons most pros use them), but no camera is perfect at high ISO settings.
There are also several excellent stand alone and Photoshop CS3 add-on programs that will help minimize noise during retouching of your images available.

Any time you find it at a ‘fantastic’ price….

I price on line, with store ads, on QVC, everywhere,
Sam’s Club, Costco…… just check every week they get a shipment and price it right, then it’s all gone.

Picked up one that way, wonderful price. You just have to know the price you want to pay and be patient and keep looking.
