What is the best digital camera for cheap you can buy?
I am looking for a digital camera/camcorder for cheap that takes very excellent pictures or videos. I know there are some excellent ones out there and if not cheap what are the best maybe I can find a excellent one for cheap on Craig list or ebay.

i have an hp photosmart a430 . i got it for 100 dollars. i dont remember if it was on sale or not tho. but even if not theyre still cheap. it came with a doc station too thats charges and prints pics directly off of the camera. it takes nice pics too and comes with everything, like usb cables,ink to print and special picture paper. i like it and ive had mine for 2 years about 
you can always look on craigslist too cuzz sometimes public sell really excellent electronics like cameras for really cheap and usually in excellent condition

Day 041/365 – Never Knows Best

Taken 02-10-10: I don’t smoke, but I’ve been wanting to do this picture for years (since the first time I saw FLCL). I’m still sick, and smoking for the sake of a picture wasn’t a pleasant experience. I posted a few more from this set on my photostream.
In FLCL, they used Mamimi’s ciggarette to symbolize her lonely feelings, her lack of belief in public, and the distance she keeps from real life… there are days when I can certainly relate.
Does anyone know what brand of digital camera from experience is the best to buy with fantastic picture clarity that is simple to use and is not to costly?

List is far and away the technological leader, but Kodak and Panasonic make decent more affordable models. Sony cameras are overpriced.

I just got mine .I had questioned this question a few weeks ago & he said Cannon 5 or 6 megapixels.I just bought a cannon with 10 MP’s .When I studed for three days, I wanted all the goodies,like the sound & movie (mjepg I reckon) anyway Overstock.com have some fantastic buys on them.check it out.I paid 300.00 without a printer or a kit.It comes with all the hook-ups& a disc to install.It will take some time studing the manual to be able to send onthe internet for my stuff to sell.That is part of the fun.Learning to do something New,because I am retired & have the time to do this now. Hope you find a excellent and simple one for your use.Have fun with!Some have a bonus of a 524{ this # may be 512?} card that may be offered .I looked for this so as to have lot of room to film.
