Waterproofing my digital camera? PLEASEEEEE this is urgent!!!! Cruise in 6 days!!?

I have a cute small digital camera that is a sony dc-210. I got it last year, and even if I have a much better and much more exoensive camera, I always use my small one because I am too frightened to mess up the $ 500 one from my aunt. anyways, we are going on a cruise, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a supplier of waterproof cases or bags that you can use with the camera inside. PLEASEEEEE this is urgent!!!! Cruise in 6 days!!
PS
I know I saw an article about this on the yahoo features a month or two ago, but can’t find it. If you can, simple 10 points and fantastic reccomendation
I am going snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, and maybe scuba diving so it needs to be able to go under water

You have to hold the camera already with that feature. I’m sure you may maybe find a case in a Google search, but if you’re going on a cruise, it’s not like everything gets wet. A large cruise ship is like a large floating hotel. Just be careful with your cameras. The more expensive camera would be fine too. You don’t need a waterproof camera for a cruise unless you’re going scuba diving, plotting on taking pictures while permanent in the water. But on the ship… it won’t be getting wet unless you’re out on an high deck and it’s raining.

I’ve heard that they aren’t cheap, but I haven’t looked it up.

Try ebay and go for shipping overnight.

Ritz camera (if there is one around you)

You should of gotten one earlier. . .

Your camera won’t get wet on the boat unless you dunk it in a pool or something. If you want to take it snorkeling or diving, you will have to pay a lot for a waterproof case (if there is even one available for your camera.)

You can get an “underwater” disposable camera for any water sports you have in mind. Take your better camera with you on the cruise. That is why you have a nice camera. Learn to use it, just take a normal amount of precaution in its care, and delight in!

Your best bet is to hold a cheap used 35mm film waterproof camera for when you go snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, and maybe scuba diving.

I recommend one like this http://cgi.ebay.com/List-Sure-Shot-WP-1-Waterproof-35mm-Camera-Complete_W0QQitemZ270208849237QQihZ017QQcategoryZ3328QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

It ends in 5 hours and if you get them to ship it 2 or 3 day you should have it well before you place.

Then, if you need digital images and you don’t have a scanner, just check off that you want a Picture CD when you bring the film to be processed, it’s only a dollar or two, and the images will be better quality than you’d get with your digital camera anyway.

Check at cameraarmor.com and bonicadive.com and see if they have a cover for your camera. You can also check Ewa Marine and Ikelite.

list D10

The List D10 has a lot of excellent reviews regarding picture quality and very quick response time compared with the others. The only terrible business about it seems to be how bulky it is.

I’ve gone through all persons options in my search for a decent camera – finally chose on a Panasonic Lumix FT1. The List was my 2nd choice.

The June issue of Well loved Photography compares 5 underwater cameras. You might want to read it. I might pick the Olympus Stylus Tough 8000.
