I like both cameras very much. A friend of mine bought an Olympus and he was very pleased con his camera, I saw the pictures and they were expended. My advise to you is to check and talk to a specialist, I can’t give you an objective advise since I know very small about cameras, and you are going to spend a considerable quantity of money. Be sure that you will be getting what you need, the features that you are going to be by. It makes no sense getting a camera with features that we won’t be by, so reckon about your needs, because it doesn’t matter that your camera takes brilliant close-ups when you want your camera to photograph landscapes.

Excellent luck and delight in your new camera!

I’m having distress transfering or even viewing pictures and videos from my digital camera when hooked up to my ps3. The camera is an olympus stylus 710 7.1mgpxl its not a digital camcorder just a camera that does video too like most do. It’s not that ancient but when I hook it up it recognizes its there and open a series of sub windows only at the end it says data not supported for either under video or any other catagory. I tryed to transfer from camera to PC to flashdrive but flashdrive does same thing as camera. If I need to convert format from PC to flashdrive what format is excepted for video and pics? Sorry so long a question just a lot of details for my conundrum. Thanks in enhancement for your help and hope theres an answer produce we’d like to do a slide show of our baby for freinds and family.

PS3 system will only accept certain types of media. Here is a definitive guide to supported media types.

That is the link to the supprted file types for video, to the left you’ll see links to other categories such as photos, which also list supprted file types.
