How do I convert my JVC digital video camera tape into a DVD or put on my computer?

I dont realy know what it all earnings but thats all the info i found on it. Thanks for anyone who can help
On the right side it has a business that says AV with a small input hole.
Bottom that it has an S-Record input

connect the camcorder to you computer with a firewire cable, if your computer has a firewire port….otherwise, you can add a firewire port (if you’re comfortable with opening your computer) – or use a AV capture device connected to your computer’s USB port.

along with what the additional person said, you can use windows movie maker (you probably already have it on your computer- its free) to transfer or capture the movie onto the computer. If you like this stuff, you also may want to reckon about buying a movie program like MAGIX Movie maker, they do it even simpler and can burn it as a DVD… windows movie maker can’t burn things as dvds.

I have a JVC Digital Still Function WIDE(16:9)MODE Data Battery Record Camera. I installed the software that came with it, and I’ve plugged it into it’s USB ports on the camera and on the computer, but no introduction splatter screen pops up, what am I doing incorrect?

Will it even transfer the tape that I recorded with it onto the computer?

I would like it to transfer so that I can burn the record off the camera onto a DVD, as my computer has a DVD burner in it.
