How do I change picture size taken by my Nikon CoolPix camera?

I just got Nikon CoolPix L22. Anyways, let’s say that I want exchange the size of pictures that I take. I want it larger or smaller when I place into computer. How to do?

Have you read your owner’s manual? If not, why not? Details are there.

But, all of us regulars here advise that you always shoot at the maximum your camera is capable of. Then reduce with software. There may come a time when you’ll want that photo full size but alas,
it’s too small. Get the drift?

1 – Set your camera to Auto Mode
2 – Press the Menu button
3 – Select Image Mode

Select the size/resolution according to what you plot to use the picture (smaller for email, larger for prints).

If you already have a bunch of large pictures and want to shrink them all, then I’d suggest using a batch photo resizing software like FotoSizer.

this camera is the 10.0 mega pixels its $ 200 and 5x optical zoom. for this paticular camera how many battery life shots per charge does it get? its light pink and its the the nikon coolpix PLEASE ANSWER! thankyou!

The color of the camera has nothing to do with battery life. The zoom has nearly nothing to do with it.

The MODEL NUMBER does. Pink is not a model number.

250-300 would be a excellent guess, it is the average with this sort of camera. Pink ones.
