Can i use a digital camera as a webcam?

Can you use digital cameras as webcams? or record camera?
I have a Sony Cyber shot dsc-w80 camera and a samsung s860 camera. i also have a sony (idk what kind exactly) camcorder. i wanna talk to my friend who has a kodak easyshare camera. may maybe this be possible?? do you know how to do it? thanks!

Read your manual, if it was possible, your manual would tell you how to do it.

i am not sure about using a digital camera as a webcam. Even if, i have heard some tales of public making a digital camera into a webcam. The fact is i guess u can, maybe, i am not so sure. I guess it may maybe be possible, but i am not a techno wiz. I guess it is probably possible, i guess.

everytime I try take a record or picture it says card locked… wtf does that mean? and how do I unlock it? Please help me I’d be grateful for it

1) take out memory card
2) there should be a small slide butting on the side of the card
3)slide it the opposite way than it is
there should be a small pad lock symbol on there pointing in which dirrection is locked and unlocked
