Is there such thing as a snow proof case for the canon gl2 camcorder?
I have bought a canon gl2 camcorder and I now want to use it to film skiing. Though, I am very worried that the camera might get wet or snow covered and wrecked. Help!

I need to shoot something in Standard Definition, and I own a Canon Gl2 which is an SD camera. Though, a Panasonic DVX100 recently came into my posession and I’m wondering which will have better SD quality. Does anyone have any experience with the Panasonic DVX100 and it’s SD capabilities?

if it is a plain DVX100 then it does not have widescreen capability like the GL2.
