Does anyone own a Kodak EasyShare Z710 7.1 MP digital camera with 10X optical zoom?

Does anyone own a Kodak EasyShare Z710 7.1 MP digital camera with 10X optical zoom?

I am contemplating export one and have read excellent ratings. I don’t need anything super like, but want more than a basic digital camera. Any thoughts?

So I really want a new digital camera because mine is doubtless 5 being ancient and is crap and takes crappy pictures….
So here are some of the cameras on target.com
1) Nikon Coolpix S220 (it’s cute lol…and it looks really excellent, but idk if its trustworthy…its so adorable and looks clean)
2) Kodak Easyshare C913 (it’s not as cute as the Nikon, but on target.com it is one of the bestselling ones and has high ratings)
3) Fujifilm Z30fd
4) Polaroid CTA something idk what its called
5) Canon Powershot SD1200 IS

(I had to take pictures of my niece’s baptism with my dad’s girlfriend’s Kodak camera and it was crap. I have a very steady hand and nearly all the pictures were blurry!!! but idk which 1 it was…)

I want something with a reasonable price and fantastic quality. I am a Junior in highschool and I know I will be taking many pictures of family reunions, dances, prom, and friends…

What are your PROS and CONS of any of these that you’ve had?

any others i missed on here that are really excellent?

Thanks!

Naturally I would have said Nikon S220 because it’s cheaper with same image quality. But the Nikon S220 is not excellent on battery life.
My choice would be the SamsungSL102. Same image quality as previous and better battery life. 3X optical zoom, 10 megapixels. Better battery life than Canon SD1200 IS.

The only decent camera on your list is the Canon SD1200IS. BTW, stay away from Samsung as they are crap.

One of my friends has a Nikon Coolpix camera, I’ve never used it but his pictures seem to come out fine (not blurry), least as far as the ones that he gives me.

I got the Kodak EasyShareM380 for graduation, not the same that you are asking about, but I like it. It’s small, has pretty excellent zoom and none of my pictures have come out blurry at all. The one complaint I have is that sometimes when taking a picture the LCD screen looks pixalated (picture turns out fine) I don’t know what the deal is with that. I have not used it a ton yet, though after 2 months I have not had to recharge the battery. Oh also, when I try to download pictures on my laptop I have tried by the SD card and it shut down my computer, but then when I plugged it in with the adapter it was fine…which is not very convenient.

I reckon another excellent option is the Sony Cybershot camera’s. I have one that I got 4 1/2 being ago, and it still works fantastic…I have ton’s of friends with various versions of it as well, and they all seem to like it also.

A review of the M1033 camera, very similar to the M1063 and M1093. I highly reccommend this camera!
