Digital Camera dilemma ?

Does any one have a Vupoint DV-DM1-VP Digital Video Recorder? Is it any excellent? Also I want to buy a digital camera either Canon or Olympus. NO OTHER BRAND. But I wanted it shockproof and waterproof and I know Canon does not have any waterproof. Some advice delight? What Canon or Olympus camera can I buy?
No i’m not going with the waterproof cases.

Olympus has been a leader in developing High Quality point & shoot cameras with Shock/Water/Weather strong features. im trying to choose on which digital camera should i get. i want excellent quality pics which can be taken in dark condition and capture quick moving objects. and also it has to work quick..so i won’t miss capturing anything flew by me.. at this point, i hav my eyes on Nikon S51c which i reckon is affordable, stylish and has excellent features (i reckon) and another 1 is Olympus Mju 850SW which is waterproof and shockproof..which is fantastic..coz i wud like to take some underwater pics..or juz incase im so clumsy that i drop it on the hard ground or into a pool.. so between this two (which i knw both have different function) but which 1 wud u recommend and y? and im open to any new suggestion to other digital cam..oh..but it must be affordable..which is around the same price range of both the digicam above. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!

you should get a sony cyber shot t100. i reckon its like 8 megapixels.

i have the sony cybershot t200. it takes fantastic pictures, its 8 megapixels too. and you can zoom in really far and the pixels dont get all blurry. i like it but i wish i got the t100 because mine is a touch screen and it seemed cool at first but its really not that fantastic lol. but they both take incredible pictures and theyre only like $ 400

I have a Kodak Z712 IS. It’s freaking awesome. It’s got a 12x zoom, which comes in handy when you want to get a bird in a tree, or see something someone’s reading… *shifty eyes*

I like my camera mainly because of the kodak color chip. All of my colors are brighter and more defined that in most cameras.

Look up the name and model of any camera you’re looking into on google and type pictures. There are tons that will come up for you to equate. It’s how I wound up choosing the camera I have and not the one I was previously going to get.

My camera when I bought it was $ 200 including shipping and a free 2gb sd card. (I can take over 900 pictures with it).

I suggest for convenience you buy a card reader. I got one on the net for about $ 10 including shipping. It loads quicker and is more convenient than uploading your camera’s program and by cables.
